Summary
Picture it!

For photography of the moon, planets and stars through a telescope using 1.25-inch eyepieces, this Saxon variable-projection camera adapter is a versatile choice. It incorporates a machined, sliding mechanism that permits variable projection distances during eyepiece-projection photography. And this eliminates the need to switch to a higher-power eyepiece for additional enlargement. Two thumbscrews lock the sliding cell in position at the desired projection distance, and a third screw locks the eyepiece in position. A separable, thread-in unit also permits prime-focus photography.

All parts are of machined aluminum and brass. The 1.25-inch barrel is threaded for filters. Use with a T-Ring (ordered separately), for your brand of 35mm camera body Picture it!

For something that allows you to use your existing 1.25inch eye-lenses with a camera, this is as good as it gets whilst not being too bulky. (Posted on )

The Saxon 1.25"variable projection camera adaptor was delivered as promised when ordered. I have used the adaptor a few times since it arrived and it allowed me to photograph the 1/4 moon with my Canon dslr camera attached. I am very happy that i purchased the adaptor.g (Posted on )

This item seems to do the job fine, it is a sturdy metallic construction, my only annoyance with it, is once you have an eyepiece in it can be a struggle dismantling it to get it out. Especially if it has a rubber ring around the eyepiece. (Posted on )
