Great Binos.for Astro and land use. - Review by Scott Medcalf
For their price and size this is a great set of binos. The feel and finish of these binos is excellent.
With 2x 80mm lens's it can gather more light than a lot of the smaller telescopes, while being a lot more portable.
Having the built in tripod adaptor is handy, as while they are somewhat light it is very easy to get the "shakes" as most of the weight is at the lens end. You will see a marked improvement when using a tripod.
I have put them on a tripod with a motor drive and this combination works quite well.
The lens shrouds are threaded so you could add a filter if you can find one big enough, I found that viewing the moon can be too bright and a moon filter would be nice. (Posted on 14/02/11)
