Ok, but needed adjusting before use
    Overall Score
Bought these as a birthday present and decided to test them before actually giving them away. Sure glad I did!

On first use the image was doubled and blurred, I repeatedly went through the steps outlined in the instructions to focus correctly but nothing worked. Was very disappointed and considered returning them as faulty. However I did a quick search and found this to be a common problem. I managed to fix the double image by tightening two screens which sit under the rubberized skin near the eye pieces.

Since then they have been ok to use but I still expected the image to be clearer and I thought they would have been more powerful (magnification wise). The recipient seems to like them though. These are used for terrestrial observing.

Great Binos.for Astro and land use.
    Overall Score
For their price and size this is a great set of binos. The feel and finish of these binos is excellent.
With 2x 80mm lens's it can gather more light than a lot of the smaller telescopes, while being a lot more portable.
Having the built in tripod adaptor is handy, as while they are somewhat light it is very easy to get the "shakes" as most of the weight is at the lens end. You will see a marked improvement when using a tripod.
I have put them on a tripod with a motor drive and this combination works quite well.
The lens shrouds are threaded so you could add a filter if you can find one big enough, I found that viewing the moon can be too bright and a moon filter would be nice.
