Meade LX200-ACF 14" UHTC Catadioptric OTA
The Meade LX200-ACF 14" UHTC Catadioptric OTA features an Advanced Coma-Free (ACF) optical system with primary mirror locking mechanism for excellent optical performance, especially during long-exposure astrophotography and observations. The ACF optics provides unparalleled features with its reduced astigmatism and flatter field without diffraction spikes. The oversized primary borosilicate mirror also helps to reduce distortion while the Schott Borofloat Glass Corrector Plate optimizes light wave alignment to reduce chromatic aberrations. The Ultra-High Transmission Coatings (UHTC) also help to increase light transmission, color infidelity and contrast of the astronomical views.
