I bought this as a gift for my husband, who was wanting to get into astronomy. It was quite easy to assemble, and the past few nights we have viewed the moon, as were still beginners, but the quality is really good for a beginners telescope. He and I have really enjoyed the scope and would highly recommend. We did do a bit of research in to what was best for a beginner, and this was within the price range we wanted to spend. Very happy with the purchase. (Posted on )

Awesome telescope I've only been able to see the moon due to my skill and viewing conditions but it was absolutely fantastic view. I bought it in the shop and the staff were amazing and knew what they were talking about. If your looking for a cheap way to get into astronomy but get a decent telescope with great views this is certainly the way to go. (Posted on )

Great first telescope - Review by

I received this telescope as a gift from my wife for Xmas. She knows how keen I am in astronomy and that I always have wanted to get started with observation.

I have had fun showing it off with friends on a full moon. Took a little time to work out the eyepeices which I now know what is what.

I had the pleasure to see Jupiter and the moons. Using the various eyepeices I could see belts around jupiter, still working on obtaining a clearer image...might help not to be using in suburbia.

My family and i bought this for my fiancee' for his birthday. He started to take an interest in stargazing a couple of months ago and wasn't very good at using his friends telescope. He has not stopped using this telescope ever since he recieved it. It is so easy to use and we have even seen as far as jupiter and saturn. It is so detailed and defined that we could see all the colours of jupiter and also its moons. The moon looks absolutely amazing and so do the clusters of stars. This telescope is highly recommended by my fiancee' and i. It is definately one a first time user would love and learn to use very quickly. Thank you ozscopes for all your help :D :D :D (Posted on )

This telescope was for a friend to view a star from a big group of us. It arrived promptly, I've given it to my friend and well, no news is good news right? I researched a lot of telescopes and this was great value for money. Thanks Ozscopes (Posted on )

I purchased this telescope as a Christmas present for my brother. This year we celebrated Christmas early due to some family going away. I was a little concerned I would not receive it in time. I was more than pleasantly surprised to have it in my possession in less than 48 hours. Plenty of time to spare.

As for the product itself my brother could best answer that. However I can say that he sent me a text, and in words that I can use in this review, he enthusiastically said it was amazing. And now the skies are clear I have no doubt he will continue to enjoy his new toy.

    Kind Regards
    Vanessa
