Summary
The Saxon 1206EQ5 Refractor Telescope is a fantastic, quality scope from Saxon that comes with a 3 year Australian warranty. With its 120mm aperture (objective lens diameter) size, it'll give you bright, clear views with the ability to see moderately far into the celestial skies - perfect for every amateur to hobbyist astronomer!

It's 600mm focal length allows for a 24x and 60x magnification ratio with its two supplied eyepieces, the 25mm and 10mm respectively. Its deluxe EQ5 equatorial mount also allows for easy, convenient tracking of celestial objects in their orbit as well as precise control of your astronomy telescope as well! It accepts both 1.25" and 2" eyepieces, expanding the range of available eyepieces for your convenience - the larger your collection, the more diverse your viewing ability!

The Saxon 1206EQ5 Refractor Telescope comes supplied with an aluminium tripod, and its refractor (uses lenses) technology allows this scope to be ideal for astrophotography - read more about our guides to astrophotography here and here. Its short focal length - of 600mm focal length (f/5). 5" made with multi-coated achromatic objective lenses - allows for a fast f-ratio, increasing your ability to get stunning pictures of the night sky!

Similar to the popular 80mm f/5 refractor, this larger aperture model has more light collecting power at the same focal ratio and accepts 2" diagonals for awesome wide field views, while only a small amount of possible chromatic aberration and weight. Weighing about 4.5 kg the optical tube assembly is readily carried and with a compressed length of approximately 59.5 cm, it is easily transported.

*Please note, the image through all finder scopes will be upside down.
