Learning or interested in Astronomy? This SkyWatcher 60/700 Refractor Telescope is a highly affordable telescope which allows beginners to take their first steps into the world of Astronomy. This telescope is suitable for both astronomical and terrestrial observations. Unlike many other beginner telescopes on the market, this Skywatcher 607 comes with a standard 1.25" Eyepiece fitting, affording you access to a wide range of eyepieces to extend your viewing experience.
Equipped with a user-friendly alt-azimuth mount, this SkyWatcher Telescope can move in both horizontal and vertical axes, suitable for viewing the Sun(Solar Filter REQUIRED), Moon, and close planets, as well as for terrestrial observation during the day.
The Refractor Advantage
Images viewed through a refractor telescope have a classic quality that other telescope designs lack. Since a refractor does not use mirrors to view objects, you generally get a brighter image. Images are also displayed at the correct orientation, making it suitable for viewing terrestrial objects, along with the Alt-Azimuth mount.
*Please note, images through all finder scopes are upside down.
