Victorinox Mountaineer Red Swiss Army Knife
- wire stripper
- nail cleaner
- metal saw
- 21-years-old and still doing the job
The scissors, in my experience, have many everyday applications for the traveller and are a far more useful tool than pliers . This knife is of a good weight and is comfortable to hold (neither too wide nor too thin)
I dropped my 'Mountaineer' on a concrete floor last week and chipped off a small piece of the plastic handle. I have dropped it hundreds of times in its 21-year life and this is the first damage sustained. That is impressive durability!
This is one for the pocket knife 'hall of fame'. (Posted on 6/10/2017)
