Taking up to 30 MP high quality pictures (or videos), Bushnell Core DS Low Glow Trail Camera powers on miniscule energy use (less than 0.08mA). In its stand-by surveillance state, up to six months (with AA alkaline cells) or up to twelve months (with lithium AA cells) of operation time may be delivered. A removable battery tray is included allowing an easier battery substitution.
One of the configurable functions within Bushnell Core DS Low Glow Trail Camera include GPS geotag capability. Objectively made to key in latitude and longitude in the camera's system then-embedded into each photos, the GPS geotag helps to make way for Google Earth, Picassa and other navigating software to assume a pinpointing map position showing your camera's placement. Other settings included are hybrid capture mode allowing both photos and videos to be taken at each trigger (and up to the highest definition each), NV shutter for shutter speed selection in controlling brightness versus its ability to stop motions, camera operating mode for a day, night and 24 hours operation limit, and dynamic video which utilizes animal activity to estimate the recorded file's length.
