This telescope kit is a combination of the premium CGX-L Computerized Equatorial mount and the large 14" EdgeHD Schmidt-Cassegrain optical tube assembly. With a payload of 34kg, this CGX-L mount is capable of carrying large optical tubes easily. Its innovative features not only support large optical tube, but also imaging kits and the latest in wireless tech accessories.
The 1400 EdgeHD is a Schmidt-Cassegrain optical tube. It has a big 14" aperture with f/11 focal ratio. It features the EdgeHD’s flat-field and coma-free optics which is an ideal for sky observation, astrophotography, and imaging objects beyond our solar system with remarkable sharpness and resolution.
