The Celestron Motor Drive is a great additional accessory for your telescope. This Single Axis motor drive can be mounted onto your telescope to allow for the scope to track stars and other celestrial objects. With this feature, you will now be able to control the EQ mount of your Celestron AstroMaster or PowerSeeker Telescope electronically, instead of manually.
Once the telescope has been fully aligned, the motor drive will track your desired object in the right ascension and compensate for the Earth's rotation as they move across the sky. The motorized telescope focuser eliminates the possibility of bumping or shaking the telescope when focusing. The Motor Drive has variable speeds, to make fine focusing a snap. Minor adjustments in declination will be needed for you to maintain your desired target at the center of your eyepiece over long period of times.
