Leica 7x42 Ultravid HD-Plus Binocular is the succession of the Ultravid HD series. Improvised and redefined by technological engineering, Leica sought long to assemble an optical instrument with crystal clear images upon view. Leica 7x42 Ultravid HD-Plus utilizes a revamped glass formulated of SCHOTT HT, a marvel prowess strengthening the contrast while offering true color fidelity with almost zero distortion, this can be seen even in low-light atmosphere.
Leica 7x42 Ultravid HD-Plus remains highly scratch and corrosion-resistant, thanks to its high durable coating, while its outer lenses coated of AquaDura hydrophobic substance prevents water and oil adhesion for clearer view. Leica 7x42 Ultravid HD-Plus roof prisms feature a P40 phase correction and proprietary High Lux System (HLS) coatings, its roll is to remove chromatic aberration for improved color rendition and increased contrast.
Leica 7x42 Ultravid HD-Plus is designed to be lightweight while maintaining durability using magnesium alloy with a titanium center hinge axle. Its optical tubes are nitrogen filled to be fog proof while sealed, enabling the binocular to withstand an approximate 16.4' or 0.5 bar of pressure. Ergonomic thumb indents on the bottom combined with high traction rubber provides a slip-resistant grip. A lubrication-free focus system offers speed precise focusing, with PETP-Discs to provide smoothness throughout daily temperature range.
