    The Pulsar Quantum Lite XQ23V Thermal Imaging Monocular is a thermal imaging scope that surpasses the challenges faced by traditional low-light and night vision cameras. They are based on IR sensor (uncooled microbolometer) which has an advantage over traditional low-light or night vision devices since it doesn’t need any light to operate because it reads the heat signature of an object and the surroundings. Its microbolometer is able to form images from the tiny difference in temperature between objects. That data is then processed to produce detailed and high contrast images. The scopes are designed for the use both in the nighttime and in the daylight in inclement weather conditions (fog, smog, rain) to see through obstacles hindering detection of targets (branches, tallgrass, thick bushes etc.). Quantum thermal imaging scopes have a wide range application including night hunting, observation and terrain orientation, search and rescue operations.
